Houghton & Mackay approaches project management services in the following way:
The Initial Assessment:
Firstly, the identification and needs for yourself, the team or Company are captured at a high level. The environment, key stakeholders and opportunities are considered during the assessment phase and are then used to inform content of the detailed plan and recommendations. Once the plan is clear, the strategy can then begin to take place.
The assessment is then presented for appraisal.
Next, the specifics of the plan will be used to inform a comprehensive strategy, together with clear aims and objectives.
During implementation, ongoing assessment and feedback is undertaken, whilst obtaining and analysis of data is done. Regular reports and updates on crucial data are analysed and fed back.
Finally, the optimisation of the project. Think of this as Bonsai Keeping, as we shape the project and allow it to grow strong roots....and then blossom. During this stage, the training, mentorship, ongoing learning and development will take place, serving as a secondary assessment strategy.
Any courses or sessions considered relevant to your project will be included as part of the optimisation stage. Please see the SESSIONS page for examples. Alternative sessions may be developed for your project also.
If the project is for a long term strategy, you may feel the L&D office option may be more suitable.
Once the subject, the aims and objectives of the training are decided, the content is written up, trialled and then given to your learners and assessed, as a complete package.
