Publishing Process
For writers who want to gain an additional audience with a British Publication. You can submit your samples / proposals to Houghton & Mackay. Here's how to publish, it is very easy.
- Apply via this page, OR send an email with details of your article idea (proposal)
- It's reviewed within 24 hours
- You write your article
- We typeset and publish it
- A payment is made (£25 - £30 or equivalent) to the writer*

Business Collabs
Professional Articles & Posts
Collaborative articles and sponsored posts are written for a Business, media entity, a brand or a person. Whilst not direct advertising, they discuss the subject in question and place the entity at the center of the article, together with relevant media and links.
- Open to writers with at least 10 published posts
- Have a showcase profile already with Houghton & Mackay
- Must be of a proven/high journalistic standard
- A payment of 30% of the Collab. fee is paid to the writer
