Karl Houghton created Houghton & Mackay in January 2020 and took on the role of content and editorial director whilst branding and outlining the mission.
Since this time, Karl has been actively developing the presence, networking with creatives from across the culture, lifestyle and wealth arena, whilst building a team of talented writers and columnists. He actively takes a philanthropic approach to mentoring young and beginners to the world of expressive media.
He continues to collaborate with a range of people from the expressive industries, including pianists, artists and people from film and theatre.

By fostering a sense of curiosity and engagement, Houghton and Mackay Magazine seeks to create a platform where diverse voices can share their experiences and knowledge, motivating readers to explore new ideas and perspectives. It's about focusing on the interconnectivity of culture driving lifestyle and lifestyle driving wealth.
